Bedford Stuyvesant

Bedford–Stuyvesant, colloquially known as Bed–Stuy, is a neighborhood in the north-central portion of the New York City borough of Brooklyn, and also the largest neighborhood in Brooklyn. Bed-Stuy offers a sense of community with its resident pride, while also boasting historic brownstones and charming shops and restaurants. Somewhat of a cultural enclave, this area exists as a peaceful oasis in the city. Bed-Stuy is also of the city’s richest collections of gorgeous Victorian architecture, making the area not only beautiful, but in popular demand. The area is rich with artists and creatives as well as lifestyle: sip on one of the 45 draft beers at Brooklyn Tap House. Catch some jazz at the Sankofa Aban Bed & Breakfast, or an outdoor movie screened in one of Bed-Stuy’s green spaces.
